Lack of healthy and affordable foods has caused higher obesity rates in The Bronx, NY.  Without quality foods communities are at higher risk for diabetes and heart disease which means expensive hospital bills long term

Self-actualization can only be obtained by securing fundamental needs including quality nutrition.

The hands-on garden and food literacy we offer connects to STEAM, social-emotional and project based learning that embraces food justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.
